Best part about being a Black Bear instructor?

It’s going out in the field, and teaching all the candidates about field craft and how to survive in a tactical environment.

What always puts a smile on your face?

Honestly, just being outside, enjoying the great weather, and being with the candidates and the other instructors. It’s a great time.

What’s been your most rewarding experience during the program?

Honestly, the most rewarding experience is seeing the students develop and learn, to pursue a fulfilling and lifelong career in the military.

Why is it important to ensure diversity in the CAF?

Well, we have to make sure that the CAF embodies Canadian society, and that everybody feels welcome.

Why should others consider a career in the military?

Honestly, being in the military is one of the best jobs you can get. Great benefits, great experiences, and you’ll have memories that will last a lifetime.
