Atti! – Inuktitut – Let’s Go!
In simple terms, what is an aide-de-camp?
So an aide-de-camp is an assistant to either a general or in this case for us, a Governor General.
What 3 qualities do you think are essential for this role?
Good time management, social intelligence and discretion.
Is there anything on your uniform that visually identifies you as an aide-de-camp?
Good question. Actually, the aiguillettes is a sign that you’re an aide-de-camp. And for us, we wear it on the right side because we work with the Governor General. That's true.
What was something that surprised you about this role?
How close I would become with the Governor General. She spends a lot of time with us and I'm really grateful for that.
What is your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part is working with you and the team, and working for her Excellency is just awesome. I feel so blessed to be here Pretty good!
That was it, and that was the 60 second challenge.
