What is my guilty pleasure?

Hi, I'm LCdr Michael MacIntyre. I’m the Chaplain here at JTFN in Yellowknife, and I’m here to do the 60 Second Challenge.
What are some of the key responsibilities of a Padre?
Well, we look after the front-line mental, emotional, and spiritual health and resilience of all Canadian Forces members.
Do people have to identify with a certain religion to seek chaplaincy services in the CAF?
Not at all. Any religion, or none.
What advice would I give to CAF members and their families relocating to Canada’s North?
Bring a toque.
Do you prefer the all-day sunlight or the all-day darkness in the Arctic?
I am a dad of four, so I am a professional napper. I much prefer the all-day darkness.
What do you enjoy most about living in Canada’s North?
The people are really cool.
As a Padre, you help others with their mental health. How do you maintain your own mental well-being?
I spend a lot of time in the gym, and I have a really core group of people that I trust that I sit down and talk with on a regular basis.
How long have I been a Padre in the Canadian Armed Forces?
12 years. I came in 2013.
Thanks so much for your time. This has been the 60 Second Challenge.
