I'm Sailor 1st Class Chénier. I'm a sonar operator aboard HMCS Fredericton.
The reason that I joined the Canadian Armed Forces when I was younger, is because, I've always been passionate about the military.
Back then, I would look at the warships... the possibility of going on warships, sailing, hunting for submarines, doing it for real.
Then, later in my life, I realized that there was the possibility of doing this professionally. So, with enthusiasm, I decided to join the Forces and serve on Her Majesty's warships.
