Good day my name is Captain Chauhan. I'm working with maintenance company at 5 Service Battalion and I work as the duty officer on Exercise Maple Resolve. In the RCEME Corp, we focus on supporting the frontline troops. As an officer I do more managing, but I still get to work with the techs. It's very attractive to people who want to work with their hands, work on the shop floor.
The techs are very resourceful with that and when they need the support, that's where we come in. But you're out in the field and you don't have that resource available. They will find a way to make it work.
For the Army what really sold me was the camaraderie and the friendships you make and the team that you work with.
