The IDEaS program was launched five years ago to build an innovation community, find innovative solutions and push technology forward to advance defence capabilities.
With an investment of $1.6 billion dollars over 20 years, IDEaS is assisting Canadian innovators in connecting, developing and evaluating their technological solutions.
Over the past 5 years, the program has: issued 75 challenges, funded 664 projects, advanced four technologies for testing by the Defence Team, collaborated with 298 innovators, invested $330 million dollars, and built and maintained a newsletter following of more than 6,200 Canadian and international innovators, And it continues to grow.
IDEaS is seeking Canada’s brightest innovative solutions.
