Hello everyone, bonjour tout le monde.
As we approach the holiday season, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to our Canadian Armed Forces members, and the entire Defence Team.
This time of year reminds us of the importance of unity, family, and community.
These values bring us together as Canadians and they are embodied by our men and women in uniform… the backbone of our nation’s security, and the freedoms we hold dear.
The holiday season is about sharing in traditions, and spending time with family and loved ones.
But I know that for some of you, this will be a time spent in service to your country, away from the comforts of home.
Please know that we are thinking of you and we are grateful for your dedication and your commitment.
On behalf of all Canadians, thank you for everything you do, for your service, and for the pride you bring to our country.
