Are you a student joining the Department of National Defence? If so, you won’t want to miss this event!
On Monday, June 15, 2020, 10h00-11h30 EST, join our Deputy Minister, Jody Thomas, for The Department of National Defence (DND) 2020 Deputy Minister’s Virtual Student Event.
This is an exciting and interactive experience that will help to welcome you to the department and highlight the importance of staying connected and will take place in both official languages.
In light of COVID-19, staying connected is imperative now more than ever. This event will be open to new and returning students and will provide you with an opportunity to hear from Deputy Minister, Jody Thomas, Youth Champion, Peter Hammerschmidt, as well as leading researcher on the subject of millennials and CEO of Abacus Data, David Coletto.
This interactive event will be broadcast via MS Teams. Pre-registration is not required, join MS Teams 5-10 minutes prior to the start time. Don’t have an MS Teams account? No problem, you may join anonymously via web.
Students should have already received an invitation sent to their personal email address for this event which includes the link to join the session and encourages them to participate.
