Calling all potential CAF speakers!
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the DND/CAF National Veterans’ Week Speakers Program (NVSWP), will go virtual for 2020!
Are you a current serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces? If so, Veterans’ Week, which runs from November 5 to 11, offers you an opportunity to share your story with Canadians.
In order to keep CAF members and Canadians safe and healthy, and to align with public health guidance, we are suspending in-person presentations and focusing on a virtual program.
Right now, the NVWSP is looking for CAF members like yourself, to volunteer to appear on-camera and deliver a portion of the Veteran’s Week speech. These excerpts will be assembled into dynamic video presentations that will be shared with learning institutions and community organizations across the country.

In the Fall, we will be reaching out to you with information on other ways you can participate in this year’s program – so stay tuned!
Your participation is key to the program’s success. Help us put a face to service and remembrance!
If you are interested in participating in the CAF speaker video series let us know by email at DNDRemembrance.SouvenirMDN@forces.gc.ca.
More details will be provided in the coming weeks to inform potential CAF speakers about this year’s program. Watch for the CDS Tasking Order and CANFORGEN.
