Civilian Employees: September Pay Deductions

Normally, when there are two pay periods in a month, 50% of certain deductions are taken in each pay period, such as union dues, death benefits, and the Public Service Health Care Plan.

Since September 2020 is a three-pay period month, these deductions will be taken from the second and third pay of the month resulting in a higher net pay the first pay of the month.
