(JT) It is a wonderful opportunity to recognize talent, to thank people for their excellent work, to try and encourage all of you to stay with the Defence Team because I do think that we are one of the best employers in this town. And to recognize youth.

(JT) We have such amazing young people here, who want to make a difference to our organization and our country. And these are people like Jonathan, Sabyna, Ephraim and Baiden, people like you, and I’m so glad you’re with us. And now we’re going to make a fuss about each of you, and were going to start first with Jonathan.

(JM) I'm really thankful for everything and I really appreciate this award that has been given. Really, it's the team and the division and even the L1 that has kind of developed the environment that allowed me to grow, that allowed me to take initiative.

(SF) It's such an honour. I'm just so grateful and thrilled to be ending my student career now on such an exciting note. I'm so grateful that I've been able to get this experience, to work with DND and have the opportunity to really see how research can foster positive change directly on the lives of Canadians and Canadian Armed Forces.

(EP) I just want to say thank you very, very much. This honour came as a great surprise. And I just want to say that none of this was possible without my great colleagues, the people around me that helped shape me, the people that I asked a million questions to.

(BB) Truly humble and truly shocked to be receiving this award. I'd like to give a shout-out to my team in domains of technology policy for never being afraid to throw me in the fire and always putting me up to a challenge to always push myself to be better.

(man) Well done!
