#GetReal for Mental Health Week

April 14, 2021 - Defence Stories

This year marks the 70th annual Canadian Mental Health Association’s (CMHA) Mental Health Week (You are now leaving the Government of Canada website), taking place May 3-9, 2021.

Our Centre of Expertise on Mental Health in the Workplace (CoE) is leveraging CMHA’s theme, #GetReal about how you feel: name it, don’t numb it (You are now leaving the Government of Canada website), to raise awareness around mental health, alcohol consumption and substance use in the context of COVID-19.

In collaboration with the Canada School of Public Service, we’re pleased to present a virtual panel discussion to celebrate Mental Health Week:

We encourage you to please promote registration for this learning event broadly within your respective organizations and networks.

We’ll also be promoting related resources, support services and tools on social media. Follow us on Twitter (You are now leaving the Government of Canada website) and join the online conversation to #GetReal for #GCMentalHealth!

Thank you for your continued collaboration and support of our campaigns as mental health and wellness champions and practitioners in your workplaces.
