Friday Update: Heard lots this week from #DefenceTeam members through various channels. Thanks to all who have been so up-front with questions and feedback about addressing systemic misconduct. We will continue to engage with you.

I’ve heard it wondered aloud if some folks are being overly sensitive.

Wanting to feel safe and included in your workplace isn’t being overly sensitive. Our culture no longer responds to the needs of our members. We will do what’s necessary so that it does.

On Wednesday, LGen Rouleau and I had a great #MHW2021 coffee talk with some #DefenceTeam members. Great discussions around how to show empathy and the importance (and 100% legitimate action) of discussing with teams and managers how to do that.
