Launch of Pride Season – Send Your Video Submission by May 31!
May 25, 2021 - Defence Stories
June marks the beginning of #PrideSeason!
To kick-off this annual celebration, the Department of Canadian Heritage will be hosting a virtual flag raising event on social media mid-June (date and time to be confirmed).
The Defence Team Pride Advisory Organization (DTPAO) invites all LGBTQ2+ Defence Team members and allies in Canada and abroad to record and submit a short video on camera wishing everyone a Happy Pride Season. Your video may be included in the virtual flag-raising video, which will stream on the Canadian Heritage social media platforms in June.
Let’s show our pride colours and celebrate LGBTQ2+ diversity, inclusion, and pride in the federal public service across the country.
