Launch of PeopleSoft Pay System (Phoenix) Upgrade 9.2
July 13, 2021 - Defence Stories
Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) has applied a technical upgrade to the Phoenix pay system and has moved from PeopleSoft Pay System (Phoenix) version 9.1 to version 9.2. They are pleased to announce that the PeopleSoft Pay System (Phoenix) version 9.2 is now live!
The upgrade to PeopleSoft Pay System (Phoenix) version 9.2 ensures that PSPC continues to receive the software patches, fixes and tax rate updates that Phoenix requires to generate payroll accurately. Phoenix users will notice changes to the look and feel of some pages in Phoenix, while the current functionality and all customization remain the same.
Extensive testing was performed with departments and agencies to ensure that employees’ pay is not impacted when the upgrade is launched. There will be limited impact and disruption to operations and users as a result of this upgrade. Employees will continue to get paid as usual.
Important: Initially, you may experience a slower log-in process and we ask for your patience. Clearing your cache/temporary internet files can help and is recommended. Read the instructions for Windows 7 and for Windows 10 to help you.
The PeopleSoft Pay System (Phoenix) Upgrade 9.2 page in GCpedia provides information related to the upgrade, including support material, updated procedures and job aids for employees (accessible only on the National Defence network) and section 34 managers (accessible only on the National Defence network).
