Office of Disability Management is expanding services to new locations to support the Defence Team!
November 2, 2021 - Defence Stories
On Monday, November 1, 2021, the Office of Disability Management (ODM) (accessible only on the National Defence network) is expanding its services to further support the Defence Team in Petawawa, ON and Cold Lake, AB!
The ODM plays a key role in ensuring that all Public Service employees have access to a safe and healthy work environment. They provide impartial, collaborative and inclusive services to support employees and their supervisor/manager, when working with disability-related matters due to illness, impairment, and injury.
If you are in a region that is not yet serviced, you can still schedule a consultation with a disability management expert.
To request services from the ODM for yourself or your employee, find out more about our services or to schedule a virtual information session for your organization call our toll free number at 1-833-893-3388 or email the regional positional mailbox.
Please note that since the start of the COVID pandemic, the numbers of requests received have jumped significantly and therefore, it may take longer for you to get a call back or email back from a Disability Management Advisor. If your request is an emergency, please indicate it in your email and we will triage them accordingly.
- Clients west of Ontario (MB, SK, AB, BC, NU, NT, YK) West positional mailbox
- Clients east of Manitoba (NL, PEI, NS, NB, QC, ON) East positional mailbox
Visit the ODM website (accessible only on the National Defence network) for more information. We also encourage you to share this handout (PDF version) (accessible only on the National Defence network) with employees in your location as a quick reference guide.
