Black History Month: Design Jams in February 2022!

In recognition of Black History Month, Interdepartmental Black Employee Networks (I-BEN), along with the Black Engagement and Advancement Team (BEAT) of Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), will be sponsoring, organizing and facilitating two Design Jams in February 2022.
What is a Design Jam?
A Design Jam is an interactive and creative approach to better understand, address, and collectively brainstorm solutions to complex problems. During the Design Jam, participants will engage in a series of presentations, exercises and activities focused on two specific themes:
- Mental Health
- Career Progression
How to Participate
The sessions are open to all federal public servants, however it may be of significant interest to employees identifying as Black/of African descent, members of Black employee networks and visible minority networks as well as allies wanting to contribute to the co-development of solutions for the event themes. Therefore, registration will be open to all public servants from February 1 to February 4, 2022.
The English session will take place on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM ET. The French session will take place on Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM ET. Registration for both sessions will be available through MS Teams as follows:
