Managers – improving pay outcomes for your employees

Managers, help prevent pay issues by planning ahead. If you need to submit a pay service request, please ensure you do so in a timely manner. Timing matters when submitting requests. Submitting your requests ahead of time allows time for processing and leads to positive pay outcomes. Late submissions cause processing delays and can lead to pay issues.
Here are tools managers can use to meet deadlines and ensure accurate pay for employees:
- Phoenix pay processing schedule - for when pay-related system functions should occur
- Payroll calendar (accessible only on the National Defence network) - to inform Employees and Manager for deadline to enter or approve time in Phoenix
- Managers’ pay responsibilities calendar (accessible only on the National Defence network) - to inform Managers when to approve, review and submit transaction in Phoenix or in HRSS for Military Managers.
