What are microaggressions, where do they come from, and how do they impact us?
Defence Team members are invited to participate in an upcoming webinar on microaggressions, where various types will be explored and discussions on the social, cultural, and environmental impacts they can have on our mental health and well-being will take place.
What you will learn:
- How to recognize the various forms of microaggressions;
- Ways to increase your awareness of unconscious bias and understand how it can impact certain groups and individuals;
- Learn about the effects that microaggresions can have on individual mental health and psychological health and safety at work;
- Strategies for addressing unconscious bias to reduce microaggressions in both the workplace and community;
