Register now to attend an information session hosted by the Sexual Misconduct Support and Resource Centre
June 16, 2023 – Defence Stories
The Sexual Misconduct Support and Resource Centre (SMSRC) is hosting monthly information sessions for the Department of National Defence (DND) employees and currently serving Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members. These sessions will provide information on the programs and services available at the SMSRC with a focus on the 24/7 support phone line and the Response and Support Coordination program. Participants will also learn about SMSRC’s mandate, what to expect when they contact the organization, and resources available.
The SMSRC 101 information sessions are designed to be informative, engaging, and interactive. All DND employees and CAF members interested in learning more about the SMSRC and its various programs are welcome to register online for a virtual information session on MS Teams. A @forces.gc.ca email account will be required to complete registration. The sessions are suitable for individuals who are new to the topic, those who have some prior knowledge and experience and those who are looking to know more about support services available to individuals affected by sexual misconduct. Sessions are ongoing, and additional dates will be added for this summer and fall.
If you have any questions regarding these sessions, please contact the Outreach team by email at SMSRCOutreach-CSRISRayonnement@forces.gc.ca. Don't miss this opportunity to learn about the SMSRC!
