It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Spread some holiday cheer by celebrating one of your colleagues!

Do you know of a co-worker who deserves a special shout-out or are you looking for a way to recognize someone who has made an impact, big or small? Virtual Shout-Outs are a quick and easy way for you to publicly recognize a colleague, or team of colleagues, for a job well done.

Here’s how to submit a Virtual Shout-out:

• Email your shout-outs to the Corporate Awards and Recognition Secretariat and
• Provide the email(s) of the person(s) being recognized.
• Shout-outs are collected on an ongoing basis.

Note that shout-out recipients will be given the option to “opt out” of having their message displayed on the Bulletin Board (accessible only on the National Defence network) on the Maple Leaf and the Defence Team intranet (Accessible only on the National Defence network), and submissions can remain anonymous.

A great big shout out to Cpl Pyke for not just taking the lead on the Christmas hampers but also making it fun with a new creative way……the holiday cheers is inspiring……Keep it up!!!!

A massive shout-out to Ms. Donna Pedersen. Donna goes far beyond her formal position as AA to Cmdt CFSMI. In addition to providing competent and unwavering adminstrative support, she quietly attends to the little details that others overlook to make the school function smoothly. With military members coming and going, Donna is an invaluable source of institutional memory. She brings the knowledge and ethos from her own long military career to her current position in the public service. On a personal level, I cannot express how much I appreciate Donna’s help, guidance and sisterhood.
