You’re invited! Virtual Event on Perimenopause by Shared Services Canada

The Defence Team is invited to join Shared Services Canada’s (SSC) Women’s Network for their event on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM EST.
All are welcome and you are encouraged to share these event details with colleagues, allies and friends.
Due to the overwhelmingly positive response from their November 2023 session and the continued demand for a follow-up event on this topic, SSC Women’s Network is hosting Part 2 – dedicated Question & Answer session with subject matter experts and a virtual audience.
As this topic is often shrouded in shame, fear and a general lack of understanding, this session will bring awareness to it, to help reduce the stigma. It will also provide women with a safe space to openly discuss the challenges during this transitionary time and to provide employees with the support they need.

Dr. Maria Migas, MD, CCFP FCFP, MSCP, Halifax-based family physician and a Dalhousie Medicine alumna, a Fellow of the Canadian College of Family Physicians, a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner and the Co-founder and Director of the Menopause Society of Nova Scotia
