Updated Pension Portal for active members is more intuitive and easier to use

A modernized Pension Web portal for active Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members has been launched.

The portal, designed to help active members plan for retirement with ease and confidence, has undergone a makeover in order to help you better understand your pension plan. The modernized portal is easy to use, accessible and intuitive.

The modernized portal allows active members to:

• View their pension information at a glance, using today’s values and projected calculations. Active members can see their accumulated pensionable service, how much they will receive, and retirement date options.
• Forecast future pension with enhanced calculators to see how different scenarios and options could affect retirement. Settings can be adjusted for the retirement date, salary, and accumulated pensionable service.
• Update personal information and upload Proof of Age documentation.
• Designate their beneficiary for Supplementary Death Benefit and conveniently update their information directly on the portal.

Active members can access the portal by logging into their pension portal (accessible only on the Government of Canada network) and selecting Pension Portal for Active Members.
