October 29, 2024 - Defence Stories

The Sexual Misconduct Support and Resource Centre (SMSRC) has launched its 2024-25 call for applications for the Community Support for Sexual Misconduct Survivors Grant Program.

The SMSRC’s Grant Program aims to enhance support services for the wider Defence community impacted by sexual misconduct and to foster stronger collaboration between community-based organizations and Department of National Defence (DND) and Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) service providers.

The “wider Defence community” includes current and former CAF members/Veterans, DND public service employees, Cadets, Junior Canadian Rangers, their families, supporters, and caregivers (age 16 and older).
