National Public Service Week is about celebrating the incredible, quiet, often anonymous achievements of public servants to improve the lives of millions of people across Canada and around the world. This year, we are using the week to shine a spotlight on you and your accomplishments.
You met and overcame every challenge in what was truly a transformational year that included a new government mandate and so much more. You were steadfast and committed to excellence throughout, never failing to deliver on the many programs and services for Canadians.
A strong foundation, underpinned by our public service values and ethics, guided us through a tumultuous year of dramatic national and global changes economic challenges and geopolitical uncertainties. Thank you for the fundamental role you play every day in upholding these values.
We know you will meet the moment, as you have done time and again. And we know Canada will emerge stronger for your efforts. We believe in you; we trust you.
Please take this week to reflect on all that you have achieved together this past year. Enjoy some activities with your teams. Put your accomplishments and those of your colleagues in the spotlight. Let it shine on you!
