Important security alert: Microsoft SharePoint servers

On July 20, the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security (CCCS) issued an alert about a serious security issue affecting Microsoft SharePoint servers. Microsoft has released emergency guidance to reduce risk while they work on a permanent security update. In the meantime, they have provided temporary steps to help limit exposure until a full fix is available.

Why are we telling you this?

We want everyone to stay informed. Most staff do not need to take any action. Our IT teams are actively applying the recommended measures to keep our systems and information secure.
