Connect with peers affected by sexual misconduct and military sexual trauma

The Sexual Misconduct Support and Resource Centre (SMSRC), in partnership with Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), is hosting peer support services for people affected by sexual misconduct and military sexual trauma (MST) this fall.

Formal groups will be offered from September 24 to November 27, 2025. Sessions are guided by educational materials that cover topics such as trauma, moral injury, coping, and self-care.

Informal groups will be offered from September 23 to December 17, 2025. Sessions are guided by topics related to peers’ shared experiences and will include a variety of group formats to reflect participants’ identities and preferences.

Register by September 10, 2025, to participate in groups.

Virtual trauma-informed yoga will be offered from September 26 to December 12, 2025. Sessions are led by a certified yoga instructor and held virtually for 75 minutes.
