Download and save your performance agreements

August 15, 2025 - Defence Stories

As of September 17, 2025, the Public Service Performance Management (PSPM) (accessible only on the National Defence network) application will automatically unpublish performance agreements that are more than five years old, based on the end date of the performance cycle.

This update applies to all public service employees who have a performance agreement in the PSPM system. It is designed to improve data privacy and ensure adherence to the established five-year retention period for performance agreements.

All public service employees are encouraged to download and save copies (accessible only on the National Defence network) of any performance agreements older than five years that they wish to keep for their personal records before September 17, 2025, as those agreements will no longer be visible in the system after that date.

Please note that while these agreements will no longer be visible in the PSPM application, they cannot and will not be deleted permanently due to ongoing data preservation requirements. Employees who require access to an unpublished agreement may submit an Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) request to the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS). Instructions on how to submit a request is available on the Government of Canada website.
