Every October, Canada's Healthy Workplace Month (CHWM) provides an opportunity to shine a light on workforce mental and physical well-being. In October (date to be confirmed), Deputy Minister Christiane Fox, and Vice Chief of the Defence Staff Angus Topshee, will host a virtual Coffee Talk, in their roles as Mental Health Champions.
This Coffee Talk is an opportunity for 10 participants to connect directly with the Champions for an open and informal conversation about workforce mental health and well-being. Participants will be invited to share their perspectives, ideas and observations, ask questions, and exchange with the Champions on what contributes to a healthy workforce and how we can further support wellness across the Defence Team. The conversation will also touch on this year’s CHWM theme, Wellness. Your Way.
