Shortly after 11 a.m. Mountain Standard Time, a single-seat CF-188 Hornet from 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta, crashed inside the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range in Saskatchewan, not far from the Primrose Lake Evaluation Range.
The pilot did not survive; the name of the pilot will not be released at this time, pending notification of next of kin.
A flight safety investigation will be conducted to determine the cause of the incident
