Homecoming of HMCS Brandon and Whitehorse from Operation CARIBBE

CFB ESQUIMALT, B.C. – Media are invited to the return of Her Majesty’s Canadian Ships (HMCS) Brandon and Whitehorse to Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Esquimalt following their deployment in support of Operation CARIBBE. The ships, which departed in early October, had record-breaking success, seizing more drugs from October to December of this year than were seized by all Canadian Armed Forces assets last year on Operation CARIBBE.
The Commanding Officers of both ships will be available for interviews.
WHAT: HMCS Brandon and Whitehorse return from a successful deployment
WHEN: Thursday December 17 at 9:00 a.m.
WHERE: Her Majesty’s Canadian Dockyard, Esquimalt (main entrance at the end of Esquimalt Road).
Operation CARIBBE is Canada’s contribution to the multinational campaign against illicit trafficking by transnational organized crime in the Caribbean basin and the eastern Pacific.
