Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan will be visiting Québec City from February 10 to 12, 2017

Media from the greater Québec City region are invited to meet Defence Minister Harjit S. Sajjan on three occasions during his visit to the old capital.

During his stay, the Minister will pay a visit to the Islamic Cultural Centre where the tragic event of January 29 took place. In addition to this formal visit, he will have the chance to attend the International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament at the Vidéotron Centre, participate in winter carnival activities, and witness the progress in the rebuilding of the Voltigeurs de Québec Armoury.

  • Friday, February 10: 6:30 p.m. at the VIP entrance of the Vidéotron Centre
  • Saturday, February 11: 9 a.m. at the site of the Voltigeurs de Québec Armoury (inspection of work)
  • Sunday, February 12: 11 a.m. visit to the Sainte-Foy Islamic Cultural Centre
