The Government of Canada is committed to using 100 percent clean electricity by 2025 and to reducing greenhouse gas emissions from federal operations by 40 percent overall by 2030.
On behalf of the Government of Canada, Kent Hehr, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, will make an important announcement at ENMAX in Calgary in line with the Government of Canada’s ambition to reduce its energy footprint and its greenhouse gas emissions. Media are invited to attend the ceremony.
