Minister of National Defence to Join Team Canada in Training for the 2017 Invictus Games

Media are invited to join the Minister of National Defence at the PISE (Pacific Institute of Sports Excellence) in Victoria, British Columbia, where 90 serving members and veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces are training for the 2017 Invictus Games.
The training camp is being held over a period of one week at the PISE, the Commonwealth Pool, the Vic Bowmen Archery Club and Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt.

Media are required to arrive no later than 3 p.m. and must present media identification.
Robert Bettauer, PISE CEO, and Greg Lagacé, Team Canada Manager, will be on hand for the Minister’s visit.
There will be a brief media availability with the Minister of National Defence beginning at 3:05 p.m., in the lobby of PISE. The scrum will be followed by an opportunity for media to take photos and b-roll.
