Chief of the Defence Staff Statement on Collège Militaire Royal graduation

My congratulations goes to this year’s graduating students from Collège Militaire Royal. Today is a culmination of many months of hard work and dedication on the part of you and your instructors, and I hope you are proud of this first step.

I have high expectations for all of you as you continue to pursue your studies at the Royal Military College of Canada. I am personally invested in a number of improvements that will be in place at the College in the coming months and years, and I need you to help ensure they are successful.

I want you to excel in all areas of your life, including academia, leadership, fitness and language. These areas will be your focus for the next several years so when you graduate the College, you will be well-prepared to lead some of the best women and men Canada has to offer.

Good luck as you move forward with your training.
