Military Employer Support Awards Ceremony

May 25, 2017 – OTTAWA – National Defence / Canadian Armed Forces
Media are invited to attend the Canadian Forces Liaison Council (CFLC) National Awards Ceremonies on May 25, 2017. The awards are divided into two events, an afternoon ceremony for the Provincial Award winners, and an evening event for the National Award winner. These events recognize the exemplary support that civil employers provide to the military reservists that work for them. The support provided by these organizations allows their reservist employees to participate in military training and deploy on operations, without risking their civilian career or educational progress.
What: Provincial and national “Most Supportive Employer” award winners will be celebrated at these prestigious events.
When: Both ceremonies will be on Thursday, May 25, 2017.
- Provincial Awards ceremony – 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm – Cartier Square Drill Hall – 2 Queen Elizabeth Drive
- National Award ceremony – 6:30 pm – 10:00pm – Canadian War Museum – 1 Vimy Place
