Event to highlight renovated Naval Engineering Test Establishment and demonstration of capabilities

August 29, 2017 – Montreal (Quebec) – National Defence / Canadian Armed Forces

On behalf of Defence Minister Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of Transport, Marc Garneau, and the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Defence, Jean Rioux, will attend an event to highlight the renovated Naval Engineering Test Establishment (NETE) in Montreal. Media are invited to attend the ceremony and testing demonstrations performed by NETE’s engineers.

This project demonstrates the Government of Canada's commitment to supporting Royal Canadian Navy personnel by providing them with modern, suitable infrastructure in which they can work and perform military tasks.
