Inauguration of TAPV facility and construction of special operations complex underway at base Petawawa

November 29, 2017 — Petawawa (Ontario) — National Defence / Canadian Armed Forces

Defence Minister Harjit S. Sajjan, will mark the opening of a new Tactical Armoured Patrol Vehicle (TAPV) facility at 4 Canadian Division Support Base (4 CDSB) Petawawa. Following the inauguration, the Minister will take part in a visit to the construction site of a new complex for the Canadian Special Operations Regiment (CSOR). Media are invited to attend the ceremony.

These projects demonstrate the Government of Canada’s commitment to supporting Canadian Armed Forces personnel in Petawawa by providing them with modern, green and efficient facilities in which to work and train.
