Minister Sajjan to Highlight Student Employment Initiative

March 12, 2018 – Kelowna, BC – National Defence / Canadian Armed Forces

Media are invited to an availability with Defence Minister Harjit S. Sajjan to highlight an initiative of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) concerning summer employment for students serving as Reservists. Minister Sajjan will be joined by Mr. Stephen Fuhr, Member of Parliament for Kelowna – Lake County.

The Reserves are an integrated part of the CAF that contribute to the success of military operations at home and abroad. The British Columbia Dragoons is an Armoured reserve unit with a strength of approximately 100 personnel, and operates in Kelowna within 39 Canadian Brigade Group.
