Final Flight Safety Investigation Report on March 2017 Search and Rescue Technician Accident

The Department of National Defence’s Airworthiness Investigative Authority has issued the final report in relation to the fatal Search and Rescue Technician accident of March 08, 2017, near Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

This document presents the findings pertaining to the cause of the incident, as well as recommendations and measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Master Corporal Alfred Barr, originally from Lethbridge, Alberta, was killed during the training accident.
