Minister of National Defence to visit flood affected areas in New Brunswick

April 28, 2019 – Ottawa, Canada – National Defence / Canadian Armed Forces

On April 29th, The Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of National Defence, accompanied by Honorable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Health and Member of Parliament for Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe, Alaina Lockhart, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Tourism, Official Languages, and la Francophonie and Member of Parliament for Fundy Royal, Karen Ludwig, Member of Parliament for New Brunswick Southwest, Wayne Long, Member of Parliament for Saint John-Rothesay and by Rear-Admiral Craig Baines, Commander Joint Task Force - Atlantic will visit flood affected areas in Saint John, New Brunswick. Minister Sajjan will take this opportunity to meet with residents, local leaders and visit soldiers deployed on Operation LENTUS, the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) response to natural disasters in Canada.

When: 11:35 am ADT, Monday, April 29, 2019.
