Operation IMPACT Interview Opportunities

Media are invited to participate in a one-on-one telephone interview with the Commander of Joint Task Force-Impact. Brigadier-General Colin Keiver is responsible for the national command and control of the up to 850 Canadian military personnel deployed on Operation IMPACT.
Operation IMPACT is Canada’s military training and mentorship operation in the Middle East. The Canadian Armed Forces is helping increase security in the Middle East by enabling the military forces in the region to more effectively plan and execute operations against extremist groups like Daesh. Having defeated Daesh on the battlefield, members of the CAF deployed on IMPACT are working with partner nations, including Iraq, Jordan, and Lebanon, to win the peace and set the conditions for rebuilding.
