Release of Statistics Canada 2018 Survey on Sexual Misconduct in the Canadian Armed Forces

The Department of National Defence and Statistics Canada will hold a news conference to address the findings in the 2018 Statistics Canada Survey on Sexual Misconduct in the Canadian Armed Forces on Wednesday, May 22, at 9 a.m. (EDT).
The findings will provide recent data and analysis on sexual assault, sexualized and discriminatory behaviours, and knowledge and perceptions of policies and responses to sexual misconduct in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Statistics Canada will release the report online at 8:30a.m (EDT). Hard copies will be available for media on location for the news conference.
When: May 22, 2019, report released: 8:30 a.m., news conference: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. (EDT)
Where: Brigadier Malone Conference Room (formerly Conference Room D), 2 North Tower
National Defence Headquarters, 101 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, Ontario
Participants from Statistics Canada and the Canadian Armed Forces will deliver statements and answer questions.
