RMC Graduation Ceremony 2020

Media are invited to view the live stream of a virtual convocation and commissioning ceremony for the Class of 2020 at the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) on Thursday, May 21, 2020.

During the live event, Brigadier-General Sébastien Bouchard, in his role as Commandant and Vice-Rector of RMC, will confer (in absentia) more than 300 graduate and undergraduate degrees to the Class of 2020. He will also officially announce the commissioning of 235 Officer and Naval Cadets of the fourth-year class who successfully completed all requirements to become second-lieutenants and acting sub-lieutenants in the Canadian Armed Forces.   

What: RMC Graduation Ceremony

When: Thursday, May 21, 2020, at 1 p.m. (EST)

Where: The ceremony will be live-streamed from RMC’s historic Currie Hall on social media beginning at 1 p.m. at https://www.facebook.com/RMCCanadaCMR/.

Notes to editor / news director:

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and limitations on gatherings, access on site at Currie Hall to the virtual ceremony will not be permitted. Virtual interviews with the RMC Commandant and some graduates can be coordinated on a requested basis by contacting the RMC Public Affairs Officer.
