Minister Anand to travel to Brussels to represent Canada at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Defence Ministers’ Meeting

Defence Minister Anita Anand will travel to Brussels today to represent Canada at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Defence Ministers’ Meeting from February 16-17.

While in Brussels, Minister Anand will hold several in-person meetings with her counterparts from Allied countries. Meetings such as this offer an opportunity for Canada to continue building on the strong relationships and partnerships with like-minded nations that are essential to maintaining the rules-based international order.

The minister will be available for media opportunities during her trip.
