Defence Minister Anita Anand to make announcement on military aid to Ukraine

Defence Minister Anita Anand will make an important announcement about additional Canadian military aid to Ukraine at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre at 3277 Douglas Street in Victoria, BC.

Date: May 24, 2022

• Media are asked to arrive no later than 8:45 am.
• Minister Anand will arrive at approximately 9:00 am, and meet the Centre’s leaders and tour the site.
• Media are invited to participate in a photo opportunity before the announcement.
• Minister Anand will make the announcement at approximately 9:15 am, and subsequently take questions from media present in-person.
