Minister Anand to travel to Brussels to participate in Ukraine Defense Contact Group and NATO Defence Ministers’ Meetings

The Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of National Defence, will travel to Brussels, Belgium, from February 14 to 15, 2023 to participate in meetings with Allies and partners on global defence and security issues.

On February 14, Minister Anand will participate in a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, hosted by United States Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III, to continue discussions on the coordination of international military assistance to Ukraine.

On February 14 and 15, Minister Anand will participate in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Defence Ministers’ Meeting where Allies will discuss a number of shared priorities and issues.
