Training Camp for Team Canada Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023 at CFB Winnipeg

Media are invited to meet with Team Canada participants during their training camp at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Winnipeg, May 16-18, as they prepare for this year’s Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023. The team selection announcement will take place on May 17, which media are also welcome to attend.
Team Canada’s 30-person contingent includes 12 Canadian Armed Forces members and 18 Veterans who acquired an illness or a physical or mental health injury while serving Canada. They will join more than 500 competitors from 22 countries, competing in 10 adaptive sports at the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023, which will take place September 9-16.
What: Media opportunity to meet with Team Canada participants as they’re training for the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023 and for the team selection announcement.
When: Training May 16-18 (from 8:30am to 8:30pm). Team selection announcement May 17 (from 11:00am to 12:00pm).
Where: CFB Winnipeg (specific location to be confirmed).
