Minister Blair to co-host the 15^th annual Halifax International Security Forum

November 15, 2023 – Ottawa – National Defence / Canadian Armed Forces

The Honourable Bill Blair, Minister of National Defence, will co-host the 15^th annual Halifax International Security Forum (HISF) from November 17 to 19, 2023. The Forum brings together defence and security experts, industry professionals, academics, and global leaders to discuss the world’s most pressing global peace and security challenges.

While at the Forum, the Minister will deliver an opening keynote speech on Canada’s national defence priorities, participate in a panel discussion, and meet with his counterparts from around the world.

Deputy Minister of National Defence Bill Matthews and Chief of the Defence Staff General Wayne Eyre will also attend.

Minister Blair will join HFX President Peter Van Praagh for an opening news conference.
