Registration is now open for Canada Army Run 2024

Looking to challenge yourself while making a difference for Canada’s Military community? Look no further than Canada Army Run 2024, presented by BMO.
The 17th edition of the event will once again bring military members and Canadians together in support of Soldier On and Support our Troops, the official charitable causes of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). With in-person and virtual challenges, and its distinct military flavour, the Canada Army Run is “No Ordinary Race”.
The in-person challenges, taking place in the heart of Ottawa on Sunday, September 22, 2024, will include a 5K, a 10K and a half marathon (21.1K) and two unique distance challenges – the 5K + 10K Sergeant Major’s Challenge and the 5K + half marathon Commander’s Challenge.
From September 6 to 27, 2024, virtual participants will be able to complete a 5K, a 10K, a half marathon, a 5K + 10K Sergeant Major’s Challenge and a virtual-only 5K + 10K + half marathon Commander’s Challenge. All registered virtual and in-person participants will receive a Canada Army Run branded T-shirt or hat, among other items.
Secure your spot in the 2024 event by visiting armyrun.ca. Registration prices range from $45 to $105, depending on the distance selected and available discounts. Early-bird pricing will be in effect until 11:59 P.M. on February 29, 2024.
The Canada Army Run is the Canadian Army’s (CA) largest annual public event and an exciting opportunity for participants and supporters to learn more about the CA and its service to Canada and discover the unique employment opportunities it has to offer.

Since its inception in 2008, Canada Army Run has raised more than $4.7 million for Support Our Troops and Soldier On.

2023 included more than 10,500 in-person participants in Ottawa, and 2,700 virtual participants from across Canada, the United States, and countries around the world.

Once again, this year, participants will be able to share pictures and stories of fallen veterans through the Remembrance Row initiative, presented in partnership with The Royal Canadian Legion. More information will be provided on the Canada Army Run website.

The Canada Army Run champions Support Our Troops and Soldier On, the official charitable cause of the CAF. Support Our Troops meets the unique needs and special challenges faced by members of the CAF community and their families due to military service, while Soldier On contributes to the recovery of ill and injured CAF members and veterans by providing opportunities and resources through sport, recreational, and creative activities.
